Joey Dunlop signed 1976 souvenir postal cover, produced by Castletown Philatelic Society and franked Douglas, I.O.M. 5th June 1976, mounted, framed and glazed together with a 1990 TT action colour 8 by 10in. photograph, 44 by 38cm. overall 1976 saw his debut at the Isle of Man races, his best placing that year being a reasonable 16th in the 350cc Junior TT. Yet in 1977, still as a virtual unknown, he won the Jubilee Classic TT, before going on to take a further twenty-five I.O.M. TT victories and setting an all-time record.
