A silver & enamel medal presented to the future Welsh international Trevor Ford as a 13-year-old for representing Swansea Schools, the reverse inscribed T. FORD, 1936-37; sold together with an 8 by 6in. b&w portrait photograph (2) At the age of ten and a half Trevor Ford became the youngest ever player to represent Swansea Schools, and the centre-forward retained his place for four years before a broken ankle brought a temporary halt to his burgeoning football talent.
