A group of six Alf Sherwood international shirt badges, four Wales badges in three separate styles, inscribed badges v Ireland 1949-50 & 1953-54 and v England 1950-51 & badges gained after shirt swaps v Ireland and v Scotland in 1949-50; sold together with five football shirt & blazer badges relating to another Welsh (but unidentified) player, comprising an old style Wales international badge and a later example inscribed NEW ZEALAND; F.A.W. Welsh Trial; and two Brentford FC badges (11) Cardiff City's Alf Sherwood won a total of 41 Welsh international caps between 1946 and 1956.
