An announcement to hold a banquet to the 1st Australian cricket touring team to England in 1878, to be held at Willis's Rooms, King Street, St James's, London, 23rd July 1878 From May to September in 1878, the Australian cricket team made the inaugural First-Class tour of England by a representative overseas side. In October, the Australians played additional matches in the USA and Canada on their return journey.
