Wilkes & Sons Sporting Photographs: Chelsea 1935-36, original 15 by 12in. Wilkes & Son black-and-white archival print, Wilkes & Son copyright stamp The Chelsea team that drew 2-2 with Aston Villa at Villa Park on 19 November 1935, included goalkeeper Vic Woodley, who won a record 19 consecutive caps for England before the outbreak of War. Woodley played in the infamous England international in Berlin, a game they won 6-3.
