England 1938 Continental Tour cap awarded to Bert Sproston of Leeds United, blue Bert Sproston (1914-2000) was a full back who had spells at Leeds United, Manchester City, Millwall and Tottenham Hotspur. He played for England 11 times and also won 2 wartime caps. He was later a trainer for Bolton Wanderers.
