Irish Football Association Challenge Cup runners-up medal awarded to Fred Barrett of Belfast Celtic F.C. in 1915, 9ct. gold, IRISH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, EST. 1880, C.F.C., RUNNERS-UP, IRISH CHALLENGE CUP, F. BARRETT, 1915 In the 1915 Irish F.A. Cup Final Linfield beat Belfast Celtic 1-0 at Cliftonville, Belfast. Fred Barrett, together with team-mate Jimmy Ferris, were transferred to Chelsea in March 1920. Barrett made 70 League & Cup appearances at full-back for the Blues until 1926. He then returned to Ireland to play for Dundalk.
