A leather polo saddle developed and used by Charles Robertson ''Bob''Skene, Australian 10 goal polo player, the brown leather saddle based on a traditional Australian stockman's saddle, together with a brown leather girth, stitching worn on the underside of the saddle, (2) Provenance: This polo saddle was the last of Bob Skene's saddles which he developed from an Australian Stockman's Saddle. Skene was the legendary 10 goal player who uniquely represented Australia, England and America at the highest level. He held his 10 goal handicap for fifteen years and apart from Sinclair Hill is the only Australian to have achieved this handicap.
