A group of ten member's badges for Ranelagh Polo Club, gilt-metal & enamel, dated 1899, 1901, 1914, 1924 (two), 1926-27, 1927, 1932, 1936, the other for 1937 and inscribed CORONATION YEAR; sold together with an eleventh badge inscribed GARDEN CLUB, IMPERIAL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, 1909; the lot also including a polo mounted montage comprising a 1993 Sports Horses First Day Cover, postmarked Louisville, KY, May 1 1993, and three miniature poster designs all featuring polo Ranelagh Polo Club founded in Fulham in 1878, adjacent to the Hurlingham Club, moving to Barn Elms in 1883. Won the U.S. Open Championship and the Canadian Open in 1910.
