A collection of member's badges for Ranelagh Polo Club, including a rare First World War period issue for 1917 in gilt-metal, together with gilt-metal & red enamel badges for 1910, 1920, 1929, 1930, 1934, 1936 and ''Coronation Year'' [1937]; the lot also including a cardboard 1928 member's badge for Cirencester Polo Club; and two modern gilt-metal & enamel badges for Cowdray Park Polo Club issued for 2005 & 2015 (11) Ranelagh Polo Club founded in Fulham in 1878, adjacent to the Hurlingham Club, moving to Barn Elms in 1883. Won the U.S. Open Championship and the Canadian Open in 1910.
