Argentina pennant from the notorious 1966 World Cup quarter-final match v England, 49 by 18cm. England progressed to the semi-finals after winning this match at Wembley on 23rd July 1966  through a solitary Geoff Hurst header, but the game is remembered more for Rattin's sending off in a particularly bad tempered affair and was known in Argentina as 'el robo del siglo (the robbery of the century).Provenance: from the Les Cocker Collection.
