Chaplin,of circular form, obverse with head of the French republic, reverse with a male holding a flaming torch being carries by a winged female, diameter 64mm. In the absence of the official participation medals being awarded at the 100 Paris Olympic Games, the present medal is deemed to be its nearest representation as the Games were held in conjunction with the 1900 Paris International Exhibition.
