1970 Lancashire Rugby League Cup winner's medal presented to Leigh RLC’s Alex Murphy OBE from the match played at Swinton, 28th November, circular gilt medal with central enamelled crest surrounded by LANCASHIRE COUNTY RUGBY LEAGUE SENIOR CUP, mounted in a frame with b & w photograph of the Leigh team, another b & w photograph of Alex Murphy and a typed note signed in blue ink by Murphy, framed, glazed, 34 by 41cm. overall Leigh beat St Helens 7-4. Alex Murphy made 118 appearances for the club between 1966 and 1971, scoring 291 points.
