Racing colours of Sheikh Mohammed 1990s, maroon with white sleeves and star on cap, signed by the former jockey Bill Smith in silver marker pen, later an employee of Sheikh Mohammed One of the most famous racing colours ever to have been seen on British racecourses and around the world. First registered in the late 1970s the Sheikh’s iconic colours, however, became a diminishing sight after the transition to the Godolphin operation. In recent years they have reappeared fleetingly carried by the likes of Fanny Logan and Glorious Journey.
