Ferenc Puskas signed Hungary F.A. official match pennant associated with the famous match in Budapest, 23rd May 1954, when England suffered their biggest defeat losing 7-1 to Hungary, the pennant later signed in black marker pen by the Hungary captain Ferenc Puskas, the silk work in the Hungarian national colours and bearing the national crest, original hanging bar, 54 by 37cm. This is the second Hungarian F.A. pennant the auctioneer has seen relating to the famous 1954 Budapest match. A near identical pennant was sold at Graham Budd Auctions in November 2007. Provenance: Consigned from the Bryan Horsnell Collection (lots 587 to 804).
