Official pennant for England's final match conducted at U-23 international level v Hungary, at Old Trafford, Manchester, 23rd March 1976, presented by the Hungarian FA to the Football Association for the occasion. Red, white and green satin ground, with silk work Hungarian FA crest to one side and match inscription to reverse, original hanging bar, 42 by 30cm. England won the match 3-1. From season 1976-77 the international intermediate level was reduced to U-21. Provenance: Consigned from the Bryan Horsnell Collection (lots 587 to 804).
