LEAGUE CHAMPIONS, SEASONS 1951-52, 1955-56, 1956-57, with flag pole rope and brass fittings, 183 by 360cm., some wear with dirt and paint marks, bears punch hole Provenance: Christie's Sale, 21st September 2004, Lot 243 In the Christie's catalogue it stated that the flag was displayed at the scoreboard end of Old Trafford during the 1957-58 season. The flag was flown at half-mast after the Munich air disaster.
