Everton FC 1914-15 Football League Division One Championship medal awarded to Joe Clennell, 15ct. gold, Birmingham, 1914, by Thomas Freeman, obverse inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE surrounding enamelled crests, reverse engraved CHAMPIONSHIP DIV. I 1914-15 EVERTON F.C. J. CLENNELL, , circular with suspension ring, diameter 32mm., weight 18gr., with case PLEASE NOTE THAT LOTS 42 AND 42A HAVE BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED TOGETHER. In season 1914-15 Everton FC were crowned Division One Champions with a total of 46 points, one ahead of Oldham Athletic. It was the club's second title, the first coming in 1890-91. This was Joe Clennell's second First Division Championship medal, his first having came during his time at Blackburn Rovers in 1911-12. The forward made 68 League appearances for The Toffees and scored 30 goals.
