In season 1914-15 Everton FC were crowned Division One Champions with a total of 46 points, one ahead of Oldham Athletic. It was the club's second title, the first coming in 1890-91. This was Joe Clennell's second First Division Championship medal, his first having came during his time at Blackburn Rovers in 1911-12. The forward made 68 League appearances for The Toffees and scored 30 goals.
