Football League representative badge v Irish League, played at Cliftonville, Belfast, 13th October 1906, bearing a name stamp for the important early football administrator William McGregor, silk oval gilt wirework embroidered with THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE IRISH MATCH 1906, with green shamrock in the centre, paper back with pin clasp bearing W McGREGOR BIRMINGHAM ink stamp, 3 by 4cm. Football League defeated Irish League 6-0, with goals by John Sharp, Tim Coleman, George Hilsdon (3) and Frederick Rouse.
