9ct gold & enamel Southern League Championship medal won by Dai Williams of Brighton & Hove Albion in season 1920-21, fully inscribed with competition details, weight 14gms. The reserves team represented Brighton & Hove Albion in the Southern League Championship (English Section). They finished the season 2 points clear of Portsmouth, who also fielded a 2nd XI team. Brighton's Dai Williams (also known as Dave) was a Liverpudlian forward who had previously played League football for Glossop and Notts County.
