Sir Peter O'Sullevan's BBC commentary card for the 1978 Chester Cup won by the outstanding dual-purpose racehorse Sea Pigeon, the printed sheet bearing hand coloured jockey colours, extensive annotations in pen, 37 by 18cm. The eight-year-old Sea Pigeon and jockey Mark Birch were winning the Chester Cup for the second year in succession. The gelding was owned by Mr P L Muldoon and trained at Malton by Peter Easterby.
