Earthenware jug commemorating the jockey Fred Archer circa 1886, black transfer printed decoration featuring Archer aboard Ormonde and a head & shoulders portrait to reverse, inscribed with his birth & death dates and career details, underside marked Rd. No. 63356, John Fennell, Manchester, height 11cm., repaired.
