Pelé Soviet State medallion, a bronze medallion awarded to Pelé by the Soviet State Committee for Physical Culture and Sport, the obverse of the medallion depicts a pair of runners between the Soviet hammer and sickle insignia and the words "Goskomsport CCCP" [Soviet State Committee]. The reverse is inscribed "Gosudarstvennyi Komitet Soviet Po Fizicesko Kul'tura I Sportu" [Soviet State Committee for Physical Culture and Sport], accompanied by the original hinged, satin-lined presentation box bearing a brass badge, diameter 6cm.
