In the cup final replay played on 28th April 1910 at Goodison Park, Newcastle defeated Barnsley 2-0, the fist match played on 23rd April at The Crystal Palace ended in a 1-1 draw

The medal was awarded to club captain and England international Tommy Boyle, who after retiring from football was committed to mental asylum and died aged just 53
