Vintage wooden boxed horse racing games,
two ‘Ascot The New Racing Game’ by J Jacques & Son Ltd, one a manual wind-up version the other clockwork, painted lead horses & jockeys propelled along the track by thread; together with an empty box for the wind-up version; the lot also including Merry's “Game of Race”, containing 12 lead horses, dice & tumbler, and printed rules & literature; and a German version very similar the Merry's game, with rules in German language; sold together with a wooden cribbage board with racehorse decoration
