Paul Parker an extremely rare silver and silver-glit 1992-93 inaugural Premier League Championship miniature trophy, inscribed THE F.A. PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1992-93, Paul Parker, the trophy is a miniature version of the one that the winning club receive, by Garrard & Co., London, 15cm high, in original fitted case

For the first and only time the players were given a miniature version of the League Championship trophy in place of a medal, making this lot an extremely rare item. Manchester United won the inaugural F.A.Premier League, ending their 26-year run without an English league title

Manchester United made a slow start to the 1992-93 season, at the beginning of November the club sat 10th in the League. However, with the purchase of French striker Eric Cantona, the clubs fortunes turned. at the beginning of April 1993, United were second in the league when they faced Sheffield Wednesday at home. United were losing with four minutes to go before Steve Bruce equalised. After seven minutes of injury time, subsequently dubbed "Fergie Time" Bruce scored the 97th-minute winner,  Seen as being a decisive victory, it put United top of the league, where they remained, winning the title the first-ever Premier League title and ending United's 26-year wait for a league title. United finished with a ten-point margin over runners-up Aston Villa
