The Metropolitan & District Football League silver cup, Birmingham 1937, the two-handled cup inscribed METROPOLITAN & DISTRICT FOOTBALL LEAGUE PROFFESIONAL CUP, on circular bakelite base, with white-metal circular band listing the winners from 1951-51 to 1976-77, including Chelsea, 1954-55, 1957-58, 1958-59, West Ham, 1959-60 and Arsenal, 1960-61, 1961-62, 39cm high overall

The Metropolitan & District Football League operated as a semi professional competition in England, providing a platform for London-area teams including major clubs’ reserve or youth squads. This cup awarded between the 1951-52 to 1976-77, commemorates victories by historically significant teams such as Chelsea, Arsenal, and West Ham United
