Silver racehorse & jockey trophy for the 1996 Persian War Hurdle at Chepstow,
hallmarked Camelot Silverware Ltd, Sheffield, 1996, signed by the artist David Geenty and dated '93, modelled as a jockey adjusting a stirrup on a walking racehorse, mounted on a wooden plinth set with plaque inscribed PERSINA WAR HURDLE, CHEPSTOW, 1996, in good condition, overall 31 by 33 by 12.5cm.
This Grade 2 Novices' Hurdle was won by Jet Rules, owned by the Jet Stationery Company Limited, trained by Jenny Pitman in Lambourn and ridden by Warren Marston.
