Ian Botham - a bronze medal cricket medal, inscribed, The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Cricket Match. Prime Minister’s XI v England’ 1I. BOTHAM 1978,  produced by the Royal Australian Mint and presented to Botham as a member of the England team for the match played in November 1978, the original fitted case the underside of the lid similarly inscribed

Robert Menzies was the longest serving prime minister of Australia, a cricket lover he introduced the tradition of hosting a Prime Minister’s XI match against visiting touring teams. The 1978 memorial match was held the year Menzies died
