Ian Botham - silver medal, the obverse inscribed The Prudential Trophy, England v Pakistan 1978, the medal formed a cricket ball was presented to Botham for the two match one day international series, in original fitted case

England won both matches to take the series 2-0. In the first match, at Old Trafford, Botham scored 31 of 24 balls, surpassing his previous best one day international score, and took 2/17 off eight overs to help defeat Pakistan for only 85, giving England victory by 132 runs. In the second match, at The Oval, Botham was dismissed for 1 off 3 balls and took 1/35 off eleven overs, England winning by 94 runs.
