Roy Keane rare green No.6 Republic of Ireland v. Saudi Arabia match issued short-sleeved shirt, 2002, Umbro, XL, with crew-neck collar and embroidered badge inscribed FAI IRELAND, SAUDIA ARABIA V IRELAND 11th June 2002, the reverse lettered KEANE, the right sleeve with 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan flash, large area of staining front of shirt

This extremely rare shirt was issued for Roy Keane for the 2002 World Cup tournament, however, a highly publicised falling out between team captain Roy Keane and manager Mick McCarthy during the team’s pre-World Cup training camp in Saipan, led to Keane’s withdrawal from the 2002 FIFA World Cup squad and sparked extensive public debate regarding leadership, professionalism, and player–manager relations in Irish football
