The 1929 Derby & St Leger winner Trigo was a bay colt foaled in 1926 by Blandford out of Athasi. He won four other career races including the Irish St Leger and the Anglesey Stakes. Trigo was owned by Mr W Barnett, trained by R C Dawson and ridden by J Marshall in The Derby and by M Beary in the St Leger.
