HARRIS Charlton Athletic secured promotion to the Second Division in comfortable fashion, finishing 8 points clear of their nearest pursuer Reading FC. Francis "Frank" Harris joined Charlton from Cardiff City in 1933. The wing half made 82 League appearance for the club, scoring 8 goals.
