1936 cap, shirt and match programme relating the the Welsh Schools' footballer C Prosser from Aberdare, the red Wales Schools' international cap inscribed W.S.F.A., dated 1936 and inscribed with full home international opposition initials I.E.S., good condition; the red Wales Schools' international shirt by Umbro and with further label for James Howell & Co Ltd, Cardiff, long-sleeved, lace-up collar and embroidered WSFA badge, good condition; the lot also including the match programme for the Scotland match for the "Victory Shield" played at Brockville Park, Falkirk, 30th May 1936 (3) The programme notes describe the Welsh Inside Right C Prosser as "A clever boy who distributes the ball well. and carries a good shot in his locker." In the Ireland match played in Belfast 15th April Prosser scored two goals in Wales 4-1 victory. At Aberdare on 2nd May Wales lost 6-2 and also suffered defeat to the Scots 5-0.
