Asprey silver cigarette box owned by the racehorse trainer Cecil Boyd-Rochfort (1887-1983)
hallmarked, Asprey, London, 1904, the hinged lid inscribed C. B-R, 9cm. square, weight 303gr.

Cecil Boyd-Rochfort trained from the Freemason Lodge stables in Newmarket. He was crowned Champion Trainer on five occasions and trained for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II from 1943 to 1968.
