Irish military horse racing trophy for The Curragh Division Races held 1st July 1857,
in the form of a silver goblet, gilt interior, hallmarks partially obscured by added weight to the base, inscribed CURRAGH DIVISION RACES, 1st FLAT RACE, 18th ROYAL IRISH, JULY 1st 1857, also with the winning rider's name, partially rubbed, possibly Pocklington, 16cm., weight 354gr.
