signed and titled, watercolour heightened with gouache, mounted, framed & glazed, overall 39 by 50cm., good condition

The race was won by the filly Hackler's Pride owned by the famous gambling syndicate The Druid's Lodge Confederacy. She was winning the race for the second year in succession. Hackler's Pride was trained at Druid's Lodge by Jack Fallon and was ridden by Bernard Dillon.
